Level 9 – Part 1 (Silver) Medals x 5

Level 9 part 1 medals to award those who have completed first silver level x 5 from the advanced gymnastics awards

There are 10 skills to complete which are detailed in the advanced poster pack.  The skills must be learnt with a qualified gymnastics coach who has experience at this level.

Level 9 part 1 skills include:

1. Forward walkover
2. Piked backward roll to handstand on floor or down an incline
3. Facing raised mats, tuck jump forwards through to back
4. Circle up on bar straight into cast
5. Handstand pirouette 180
6. Tuck jump into round off dismount from the beam
7. Split handstand on the beam
8. Frog balance into straddle headstand
9. Wide arm handstand against the wall
10. Handspring off a vault or higher platform
